Richmond Council

The Richmond Council is an organization of trustees, alumni, University friends, parents, faculty, students, and staff bringing together a variety of perspectives and collaborating to "inform, engage, and energize the University's institutional leadership" in Richmond's continued march to excellence.
Consisting of leaders from both on and off campus, the council meets in conjunction with regular meetings of the University's Board of Trustees and the Richmond Alumni Association Executive Committee. All active members of those two bodies are also members of the council.
Additional membership comes from leaders of other University volunteer groups, faculty, and staff representatives (including the University's senior administrators), leaders of student groups (including student government organizations), and at-large members.
A key goal for the council is helping to shape the future direction of Richmond through identifying the needs and opportunities that will form the basis of the University's next strategic plan.
