President's Student Advisory Board
The President’s Student Advisory Board, composed of current students from across the institution, shares thoughts and ideas about academics and campus life with the University President. Through engaging in constructive, informative dialogue with the University President and each other, this group provides valuable insight and guidance that can help UR make progress.
The Student Advisory Board convenes with the University President several times during the academic year. The Student Advisory Board may also be convened ad hoc at the request of the University President to provide feedback and insights on key issues.
Members of the Student Advisory Board represent a broad range of student backgrounds, interests, and experiences. They are selected by the University President, based on recommendations received from members of the President’s Cabinet, Academic Deans, and current members of the Student Advisory Board. The term for a Student Advisory Board member is generally one year and the number of members is generally between 10 and 15.
